I'm Aubree. This site is my working notebook on dressmaking — techniques, materials, tools, and the history behind them — written up as I learn and practice, not as a neutral reference. Where I have an opinion on how to do something, I've said so.

Historical coverage here focuses on Western fashion from roughly the Victorian era to today. It may widen later, but that's the scope for now.
